カラフル colorful
天上界に彷徨う「ぼく」の魂は、たった今自殺した小林真の身体に入り、自分の犯した罪を知るように言われる。
「ぼく」は冴えない中学生小林真の身体で、いやいやもう一度生きる事になる。
憧れの同級生の事、母の不倫、冴えない父、冷たい兄。小林真として生きる「ぼく」は、小林真が置かれていた状況を徐々に知っていくにつれやけになってくる。そんなある日、今までは気付かなかったクラスメイトと友達になる。今まで全く詰まらなかった小林真の毎日が楽しくなって来たのだが、天上界から言われた、自分の犯した罪を知る期限が迫って来ていた。
直木賞作家森絵都の原作を「映画クレヨンしんちゃん モーレツオトナ帝国の逆襲」の原恵一監督が「河童のクゥと夏休み」以来３年ぶりの劇場作品。

The soul of “I,” wandering in the heavenly realm, enters the body of Kobayashi Makoto, who has just committed suicide, and is told to realize the sins he has committed.
“I” reluctantly begins to live again in the body of Kobayashi Makoto, a dull middle school student.
About a classmate he admired, his mother’s infidelity, his dull father, and his cold older brother. As “I,” living as Kobayashi Makoto, gradually learns about the situation Kobayashi Makoto found himself in, he becomes despondent. Then, one day, he becomes friends with a classmate he had never noticed before. Kobayashi Makoto’s previously boring days are starting to become fun, but the deadline set by the heavenly realm for him to realize the sins he has committed is approaching.
Based on the original work by Naoki Prize-winning author Mori Eto, this is director Hara Keiichi’s first theatrical release in three years since “Summer Days with Kappa Coo,” directed by “Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: The Adult Empire Strikes Back.”
The film has received numerous awards, including the Excellence Award at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival, sponsored by the Agency for Cultural Affairs
